Key Responsibilities:
Working as a Transmission Engineer for Ericsson on Warid Telecom 2G and 4G LTE project in Pakistan.
Responsible for network 1st level operation and maintenance (O&M) in Network Operation Center (NOC) by Monitoring Data and Network using fault management systems and specific NMS’s and performing initial analysis to identify the issues.
Providing complete support from NMSs as SOM & SOEM (Ericsson), Tellabs 8100 DXX manager, Marconi OMS, New-NMS (Nera), Optix iManager T2000/U2000 (Huawei), PNMS (NEC), # WhatsUp Gold NMS (Cisco witches) & CISCO Prime NMS to field and other department for Optimization issues and system outages.
Operation and Maintenance of end to end transmission core (SDH) and access network (Microwave) for surveillance and identification of trouble spots.
Providing escalation and technical support for rectification of various transmission faults of network keeping track of all alarms/fault conditions and initiating actions to clear condition, co-ordination performed form NOC.
Using dedicated Trouble Ticketing such as (OneTM,OneFM) applications for alarms handling and field personnel dispatching Loop testing on SDH, DWDM remote and support for field engineers in order to find and to fix the faultyhardware.
Investigation and troubleshooting of the daily outages in the network.
Configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of Ericsson, Huawei, NERA & NEC Microwave solutions i.e. Minilink Traffic Node (R3/4/5), Minilink Hicap, MDRS, RTN600 series, NERA CL & IL and NEC ipasso link.
Ensuring fiber section faults are correctly diagnosed and escalated and do relevant loop tests if necessary to locate the problem.
Providing updates/feedback about operational activities at the management requests.
Periodically performing telecom reports in order to reach the agreed KPI’s.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing Zong & Telenor IBS/DAS projects in the Central & South region Pakistan.
Perform RF Site Surveys for RF Repeaters and Micro BTS Sites.
Planning & Designing of Indoor coverage solutions for 2G, 3G & 4G (LTE) networks ensuring operator's KPIs requirements.
Prepare IBS link budget (GSM, DCS, WCDMA & LTE).
Inspection/Supervision of the deployment of Indoor BTS/Repeater Sites to meet the design criteria.
RF Repeater Installation & Commissioning.
Once RF equipment is installed, perform RF data collection to ensure that the quality of service meets RF design specifications.
Pre & Post Walk Test Reports, Result Performance Review & Analysis (Rx Level, Rx Qual, RSCP, Ec/No KPIs analysis & parameter verification) using data collection softwares like TEMS & MAPINFO.
Based on data collection activities, optimization of designs and/or recommend equipment or parameter adjustments to meet the KPIs.
Implementing necessary changes and preparing Final optimized designs & Reports.
Interaction with customer, conducting Joint visits for site Inspection, Quality assurance and for the resolution of technical issues.
Project Roll-Out coordination, supervision and management of field teams.
Perform PM&CM activities, Troubleshooting & Optimization of IBS/Repeaters sites.
Preparing Technical Design proposal including Existing Coverage Testing, Schematic Diagrams, Antennae locations & cables routing, Link Budgeting (EiRP), BOQ (Bill of Quantity) calculation & other Technical specification documents.
Site acceptance visits for ATP/PAC/FAC with Operator.
